Time to fly - April Rom

Fun fact about loons: most loons will fly away to the ocean in the winter to escape the freezing cold lakes. 

Also, the title of this painting is special to me because sometimes we are afraid to leave where we are comfortable and afraid to spread our wings for a new environment and new adventure. And deep down we know if we don’t leave — we’ll just freeze and there won’t be any growth. So we just have to keep telling ourselves that it’s “time to fly.”
