The Hopeless Identity of the American Youth Bag

The first work that began my solo show this May. This initial work references Alvin Toffler’s 1970s book Future Shock, where he talks about the humans desire to reach into the youth back, trying on different hobbies and personalities to find where they fit in. Or more so, where they don't. With the bathroom being an introspective place to reflect or overthink on the decisions of your past. This work speaks on the vices we have held and have kicked and the lives we have lived and no longer recognize.
