Since Poets Are Supposed to Write About Flowers, Here’s Some Flowers

This traditional collage mounted on a panel places a figure in a field of flowers amongst a pink sunset. Rainer Maria Rilke, in Letters to a Young Poet, spoke on knowing the gesture of flowers both in beauty and in the found meanings behind them. This work is a tip of a cap to Rilke and the poetics behind flowers.
